Aproximativ 42% din elevii rom\u00e2ni de 15 ani sunt analfabe\u0163i func\u0163ional, arat\u0103 un studiu al Centrului de Evaluare \u015fi Analize Educa\u0163ionale. De\u015fi unii dintre ace\u0219tia \u015ftiu s\u0103 citeasc\u0103, copiii nu reu\u015fesc s\u0103 \u00een\u0163eleag\u0103 textele, iar aceasta este o consecin\u0163\u0103 a faptului c\u0103 de cele mai multe ori elevii sunt obliga\u0163i s\u0103 memoreze informa\u0163iile, nu s\u0103 analizeze textele, dar \u0219i din cauza lipsei acccesului la c\u0103r\u021bi potrivite v\u00e2rstei lor. S\u0103 nu uit\u0103m c\u0103 \u00een Rom\u00e2nia peste 50% dintre elevii rom\u00e2ni locuiesc \u00een mediul rural, \u00een localit\u0103\u021bi unde nu exist\u0103 libr\u0103rii sau biblioteci dotate corespunz\u0103tor.<\/p>\n

Conform studiului PISA* pentru anul 2015, rezultatele au dus \u021bara noastr\u0103 \u0219i mai jos \u00een subsolul clasamentului fa\u021b\u0103 de 2012, mai exact pe locul 48 din 78 de \u021b\u0103ri. Sub Rom\u00e2nia s-au plasat Cipru, Moldova, Albania, Turcia \u0219i cele mai bune rezultate au fost ob\u0163inute de elevii din Singapore, Japonia \u015fi Estonia.<\/p>\n

Studiul PISA 2015 a evaluat aproximativ 540.000 de elevi din 72 de \u0163\u0103ri \u015fi economii la Matematic\u0103, Lectur\u0103 \u015fi \u015etiin\u0163e. Testarea interna\u0163ional\u0103 se desf\u0103\u015foar\u0103 o dat\u0103 la 3 ani \u015fi arat\u0103 nivelul elevilor de 15-16 ani la matematic\u0103, citire \u015fi \u015ftiin\u0163e. Scopul acestor teste este de a verifica modul \u00een care copiii pot aplica informa\u0163iile pe care le primesc la \u015fcoal\u0103 la lumea real\u0103. Asftfel, de exemplu, PISA nu m\u0103soar\u0103 dac\u0103 un copil \u015ftie tabla \u00eenmul\u0163irii, ci ce \u015ftie el s\u0103 fac\u0103 cu ea, dac\u0103 poate interpreta corect un text, explica \u0219i contextualiza. Concret, programul OECD-PISA nu testeaz\u0103 \u201ediscipline\u201d, pentru c\u0103 nu urm\u0103re\u015fte eficien\u0163a \u00een performarea unui anumit curriculum, ci evalueaz\u0103 \u00een ce m\u0103sur\u0103 elevii afla\u0163i c\u0103tre finalul educa\u0163iei obligatorii de\u0163in unele dintre competen\u0163ele-cheie, cuno\u015ftin\u0163ele \u015fi deprinderile de baza esen\u0163iale at\u00e2t pentru continuarea studiilor, c\u00e2t \u015fi pentru participarea deplin\u0103 la via\u0163a social\u0103 sau pentru integrarea pe pia\u0163a muncii.<\/p>\n

Cercet\u0103torii PISA ne mai spun c\u0103: \u201eNu este suficient ca fiecare copil din clas\u0103 s\u0103 aib\u0103 un calculator \u00een fa\u021b\u0103, ci acesta ar trebui conectat la Internet \u0219i utilizat \u00een avantajul procesului de \u00eenv\u0103\u021bare, nu ca distragere\u201d. Acela\u0219i studiu a demonstrat c\u0103 \u00een \u0219colile private, unde exist\u0103 echipamente \u0219i se organizeaz\u0103 cluburi sau competi\u021bii \u0219tiin\u021bifice, rezultatele \u00een domeniu sunt mult mai bune. Organiza\u021bia pentru Cooperare \u0219i Dezvoltare Economic\u0103 ne atrage \u00eens\u0103 aten\u021bia c\u0103 sistemele de \u00eenv\u0103\u021b\u0103m\u00e2nt eficiente sunt cele care vin \u00een sprijinul form\u0103rii elevului, indiferent de statutul socio-economic. Prin urmare, societatea \u0219i individul pot beneficia pe termen lung numai dac\u0103 asigur\u0103m fiec\u0103rui copil accesul la educa\u021bie de calitate \u0219i la programe alternative.<\/p>\n
